Service: Website Oversight, website monitoring and reports.

Email: support@websiteoversight.com

These terms apply to the Website Oversight monitoring service. Please read them and the privacy notice before creating an account. Product questions, complaints and account requests can be sent through our contact details.

Monitoring coverage

Website Oversight checks public HTTPS pages and reports observed HTTP errors and initial-HTML findings. Homepage checks are scheduled hourly and discovered pages daily, subject to queues, retries and service availability. Discovery follows same-website links and sitemaps up to the plan limit; it cannot guarantee finding every page. A successful check is a recorded sample, not a guarantee of uninterrupted uptime or that every website feature works.

The service does not repair websites, run browser JavaScript, test forms or checkouts, inspect login-only pages or monitor external links. Certificate-expiry monitoring is not currently enabled. Review the coverage guide for detailed limits. You remain responsible for your website and any action taken on findings. Email delivery and inbox placement cannot be guaranteed; reports and last-check times are available in the dashboard.

Accounts and permitted use

Use an email address you control and keep your sign-in links private. Only monitor websites you own or have permission to monitor. Do not use the service to access private systems, collect sensitive information, evade access restrictions, disrupt third-party websites or interfere with other customers. We respect robots rules and apply request and capacity limits. We may restrict abusive use or pause checks to protect the service.

Free trial

The seven-day trial starts when you verify your email and select Continue. It covers one website and up to 100 discovered pages. No payment card is required and the trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. One trial is allowed per email and website; removing a website does not reset eligibility. Trial admission is subject to capacity. At expiry, monitoring and alerts pause, while saved reports remain accessible.

Paid subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are not open yet. The planned plan is £19 per month for up to five websites, each with up to 100 discovered pages. When live checkout opens, it will show the actual price, applicable taxes, billing frequency and renewal terms before purchase. Lemon Squeezy will act as merchant of record and its buyer terms will apply to the payment transaction. We will not charge a trial account automatically.

Cancellation, refunds and saved information

See the refund and cancellation policy. Under the current service behaviour, cancelling a subscription stops its monitoring access immediately unless another active subscription remains. Saved reports remain available. Removing a website deletes its page records and history and does not cancel billing. Export records you want to keep before removal. Account deletion requests can be made by email.

Availability and responsibility

This is an early service with limited capacity. Checks, reports and notifications can be delayed or unavailable. It is not an emergency, security-response or continuous-uptime service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights. If the service is faulty or not as described, contact us so we can investigate and address the issue.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms as the service develops and will identify the current version by its date. Material changes affecting an existing paid subscription will be communicated before taking effect where required. Contact us if you have a question or complaint; support is in writing, without telephone or live chat.
